Why would you tell the reaver that? Their win condition is against town's and this doesn't feel like a joke phase post.

It was not a joke post. I don't want to be converted because I want town to win and if I'm converted and town wins, then I lose. It also happens to be beneficial to the reaver not to convert me, because if they convert me then they are more likely to lose as well, but that's more beside the point, the main point is that I don't want to lose myself.

You often make it to the endgme (when you don't get modkilled), plus you're a smart player, so you probably are a strong candidate for recruiting. Unless they wifom themselves out of it because you are such a strong candidate.

"I opposse massclaims on principle" is not a good argument.

There are obviously some drawbacks, but with so few VTs in play a massclaim should always be a consideration.

Fair enough, but didn't Kit said the setup is quite anti-massclaim?

Taking the not liking the process out, my only concern is that I interpreted the BH role to be able to outright win and other factions lose if they get their targets lynched or killed before the other factions get them.

I could be wrong - will throw a GM call up if no one else did once I am caught up.

We have no idea what the posting restrictions might be. There's no reason to expect they would force someone not to sound normal.

A massclaim an hour into d1 is a pretty silly idea or scum motivated. One of the biggest issues last game were mechanic hounds who got away with saying alot of nothing under the cloak of saying alot. So, in my deep, ooh so deep, soul searching I've taken note of those types and personally am going to be looking at them very hard.

They got away with nothing largely because you ignored them. Why are you so concderned with them NOW, this game?

Yes, they do win in that case, but how does the massclaim benefit them in any way?
