Catching up. Is there much new? I had a miserable day at work (unlike Jamie) I had to ask the actuarial standards board for a ruling on whether something was sufficiently against client fiduciary interests as to require me to resign. As near as I can tell:

The chaqa wagon is for him doing a dumb chaqa thing.
The jasnah wagon is because she misused a pronoun.
The Jamie wagon is because he was insufficiently angry.

I unironically think it's at least 20% because I wrote earlier that I hate communism.

Of the people on my wagon, I think that celaph is the least likely to be scum, and emc is the most likely to be scum, maybe followed by Chaqa and Bona, I really don't like damo and Foxcastle just from interacting with them but I'm not interested in trying to DK either at the time.

I think it'll be hard to DK Chaqa today and for that reason alone I'm better off finding an alternate wagon that the ADHD'ed monkeys with shiny object syndrome will take up with five minutes to EOD

I tend to agree. But he is obviously not the kill today and I just don't get why people are voting him. I can't see no item that scum might have that is such a threat for town to warrant a D1 kill. And he is even offering himself to be the D2 kill, an offer that we should probably take...

I've hit a nice little milestone today. It's totally outside the game but I wanted to mention it anyway because it's nice to have good news.

Today was my PhD Confirmation Review meeting. If you're doing a part-time PhD, the first 18 months is probationary. The Confirmation Review at the 18 month point determines if you're doing enough work, and stepping up to the academic level expected (and if not, they can boot you out).

I passed.

The problem with rdrivera's suggestion is that town really don't have the attention span to be making multi-day plans. There will be an aspect of time inconsistency and when the D2 and "Chaqa"'s supposed execution date arrives, some new lead will almost by magic materialize, and the outrage will promptly shift toward whatever the shiny new lead is. Leaving "Chaqa" looking very good because he was so close to kicking the bucket surely you wouldn't put the poor man back onto death row?

My first reaction to most of you is contempt. I don't even think damo, Bona or Foxcastle are scum, just grade A idiots. It's probably why I don't usually have much success in making friends. Hard to tell.

I think that down the line we'll have many issues with me being a wagon every day. This game is also taking up too much of my time, or it was today, so I'm not gonna push back on my wagon.

I think Jamiet and Chaqa are both decent wagons going into tomorrow. I think lfischl and Vecna are town. I think damo, Bona and Foxcastle have not more than 1 non town. I think Bunny go may be non town. I don't think you should put much stock in what anyone says on D1 because it's at least four parts self-aggrandizement to every part substance, but it's a minimal cost and a lot of potential upside in ability to say 'wow I was right' for me to write this.

I'm pretty sure there are more than 5 maf, having read the role list at some point. Why are people running their mouths propagating fake news?

It feels weird scumreading someone for having reads, but that's definitely where I am right now.
