Here is where Red Neurax provides his explanation of his DiplomacyandWarfare vote, saying it was because DiplomacyandWarfare's post was more recent, not because DiplomacyandWarfare was being subtle in supporting the foodcoats vote. ghug then accepts this explanation.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 7:46 pmThis is true. the top message on the page was a reply of it so that was the first thing i read
Do you think it was unreasonable to suspect you at that point in time?

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Here ghug town reads Red Neurax, saying he is in the same category as Just and Vecna. However, Red Neurax didn't tie himself to Bonatogether by placing a vote that potentially prevented the Bonatogether DK like Just and Vecna, so apparently he was town reading Red Neurax for voting for Bonatogether, despite not knowing Bonatogether's alignment.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 10:38 pmCool, I wanted Will to answer too, but the night's end is approaching and nobody ever listens to me anyway:
I think risky tie votes are more likely to come from town. If Bona's scum, Will and Vecna both just tied themselves to him really really hard. If he's down, scum had no reason to care about the outcome. I'm moving them both to townreads, and I think I'm comfortable putting Red in that category as well.
I scumread bona and damo. Everyone else is null. Y'all need to obvtown better.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
this is a factually inaccurate reflection of my behaviour surrounding red N. ive never commented on anyone else reading red N whateber way, nor do i care particulalry much.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:39 pmI don't know what you mean by me wanting to scum read Bonatogether.
Besides you and ghug potentially distancing from each other, you both have been discouraging suspicion of Red Neurax, and Red Neurax has barely mentioned either of you. Your reasons for town reading Red Neurax seem to be based on things that are factually inaccurate.
its a hard to read slot, but i think its town. trying to justify entire scum teamreads based on how people treat that slot is some incredible weaksauce.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
he did indirectly answer it, and it was close enough to my interpretstion. it was discussed for quite a bit.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:43 pmRed Neurax's answers on this issue never gave any indication that your interpretation was correct. He also never answered your question, and you did not follow up.Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 10:57 pmthe reasoning I read into it was; this guy is approving of this other guy voting me. thats suspicious.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2024 10:50 pm
OK, but that post by DiplomacyandWarfare points out that foodcoats was voting for Red Neurax, yet Red Neurax came away from that thinking DiplomacyandWarfare is the one who was suspicious for trying to get him DKed.
its not made very explicit, but its the thread of thought I think he wants to convey.
@red; is that a fair interpretation?
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
when i commented that I thought he was actually attacking darg. if its read from randomly commenting and instead attacking damo its a lot less spicy.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:47 pmI assume you were referring to Red Neurax's suspicion of damo, but the only specific thing he mentioned in this post was not accurate.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 9:51 amStill quite happy with my red townread.Red Neurax wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 11:48 pm
this guy flips back and forth so much
previously he was saying its me now he says its unlikely to me
additionally, he makes many claims but all of them are paper thin - he has nothing to back it up
ex. saying vecna will bona are a possible trio but then says low possibility without any actual argument
i feel like hes trying to overcompensate
This is actually quite a spicy take
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Unless we're both town.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:39 amAlso, its important to note that it REALLY appears no scum was at risk during d3.
If bona is scum, he was there, active, but he didnt swap. He burned his vote on the Will wagon.
He swore he would do everything to protect damo, but HE DID NOT DO SO.
A single last minute vote swing to damo wouldve killed damo.
He stated openly "newb scumteam stocks increasing".
A vote to argent wouldve both voted inline with that thought, and would guarantee to protect damo.
He never made that vote. He didnt actually care if damo lived or died.
I dont think the 2 are connected.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
If that were true it would be self fulfilling.Red Neurax wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:25 pmi think the main thing here is that the majority people think bona is mafia
hence why we should vote him out
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I'd kinda figured I'd push for damo for a while to see what a fresh wagon would look like and then move to bona, but then yesterday was surprisingly busy.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:13 ambut why didnt you want to kill bona to confirm your theory yesterday? Because this all hinges on bona being scum, but you did not vote to confirm that suspicion.ghug wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:17 amNo I'm not letting you lead a miskill over me or my townread after you just led a miskill on a nothing lurker.
Day 1: damo is instrumental in killing Rd over bona
Day 2: damo is already tied to bona, might as well vote to save him again.
Day 3: We, led by damo, kill another townie instead of damo or bona.
This isn't rocket science.
At this point I also think it's more likely I'm wrong about bona, though. The connection feels apparent to me, but damo is independently fully within his scum meta, whereas I've been wrong on bona before.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
Really?Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 10:26 ammy subconciousness told me it was darg while I was sleeping btw.
The new insight is that he was way too nervous when I started digging into his connection to bona yesterday. He didnt feel excited at all that I started getting involved and digging.
He said it wasnt showing on the bot that he voted for DIP, but it is. He wrote a full on analysis of all votes between dip and bona, but forgot his own.
When confronted he stated he forgot all about his vote, that went against his entire reads leading upto that point. During d3 he kept hopping around up and down between bona and others.
As stated earlier, it can definately be seen as a towny being clueless and searching. Or he's the missing link in all this.
He is the one that was truely set up well to bus bona at every point in the game. He kept the option and the reasoning availlable, but when it really came down to it, he voted DIP while he had stated earlier he liked DIP's cases.
In hindsight - maybe he just hoped we would forget about that, because in a scum mind, that shit is DAMNING. In a black and white world, which our mafia games often are, that shit might just result in a death sentence.
Or maybe he's just flawed town. but my paranoia is at a 100, and my subconcious tells me he bad.
Dud you want me to jump up and down? My tone changed towards you, because you were finally acting like the vecna I know and love. You mived to town for me.
It's omgus, but I am no longer as sure.
You know how to play me when you are scum. But I think you pulled tge trigger a bit too soon.

Fwiw... more dead people have voted for bona, vecna, and just.
If I live. I want to compare reads of dead folk. No time today.

damo asked me for my best guess at a scum team, and I answered him. Then I provided the explanation for my best guess that you asked for. I don't know if I am right, but if Red Neurax is mafia, how players interact with him is significant.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 5:52 pmthis is a factually inaccurate reflection of my behaviour surrounding red N. ive never commented on anyone else reading red N whateber way, nor do i care particulalry much.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:39 pmI don't know what you mean by me wanting to scum read Bonatogether.

I don't remember anything Red Neurax said that indicated his suspicion of DiplomacyandWarfare D1 was that subtle.Vecna wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 5:53 pmhe did indirectly answer it, and it was close enough to my interpretstion. it was discussed for quite a bit.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2024 3:43 pmRed Neurax's answers on this issue never gave any indication that your interpretation was correct. Captain's Log, Supplemental
Following the incapacitation of Lieutenant Commander Data and the growing tension aboard the Enterprise, I have ordered all non-essential personnel confined to their quarters under the supervision of Mr. Worf. This measure, though drastic, appears to have brought a temporary reprieve from the escalating mistrust and hostility. For the first time in days, there have been no reports of violence or sabotage.
Still, this calm feels fragile, as if we are merely containing the chaos rather than addressing its root cause. Our situation remains dire, and with critical members of the crew compromised, our options grow increasingly limited. While I hope this quiet is a sign of recovery, I cannot shake the feeling that it is the eye of the storm, and greater dangers may yet lie ahead.
I will not relent in my efforts to restore order, but the weight of uncertainty presses heavily upon us all.
Day 4 has begun.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
So it's MILO. 5v3
We could no kill and force them to kill someone tonight to bring it to KILO, and I don't think anyone is universally townread, so it'd be useful info regardless. Or we could just kill, and then the numbers would be such that mafia hitting a phaser would buy us another miskill. I think I'm inclined towards the latter.
