Why do you think it was plenty of scum wagoning a townie?TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:44 pmI wake up to get ready to vote only to find we've hammered and killed a townie. Incredible. We didn't get to gain more information on people and instead let plenty of scum wagon a townie. What a waste of a day.

@Bunny and @emc
Can we have updated reads on the EOD1 wagons from your perspective now?
@TFB - why do you say scum was on the wagon? I mean, statistically probably some were, but you say it with such certainty. Wouldn't scum be just as happy to sit back and not enter the thread until after townies had done their work for them?

I feel like there are certainly more than a few players who had no idea what damo was implying when they just went along and hammered RHK, since I still haven't a clue

I guess we just really disagree regarding what is more valuable to read reactions, but we can move on.ghug wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:45 pmI think that once a lynch is inevitable, the reactions become kinda stale and meaningless. It's probably more telling to see how someone reacts coming into it after the fact than it is to see yet another person say "oh I get it, ##vote RHK".Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:41 pmIt is frustrating, and I could not disagree more with your reasoning.
We’ve got emc coming in now, who was a relevant player D1 from a wagon standpoint, we got no natural reactions from him on what was going on and he can just post some generic post like he did and we learn nothing. That’s why I find end hammering super frustrating.
We should have made damo explicitly claim so that he couldn't pull back later (which, thankfully, he isn't doing), and he should have played it less stupidly, but what's done is done.

The main new thing I can think of right now is that Chaqa might be scum.goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:52 pm@Bunny and @emc

Interesting. How did D2's actions lead you to that conclusion?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:57 pmThe main new thing I can think of right now is that Chaqa might be scum.goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:52 pm@Bunny and @emc

Please calm down and stop being so aggressive towards me. It is quite unnecessary.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:42 pmMoreover, if you think that damo is scum and faking it, what are the odds of this being the case versus other plausible scenarios?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 6:41 pmYou were the one that wanted to give RHK time to get out of a scenario in which he obviously needed to flip. If you were thinking that damo is scum and faking it, and you have a motivation for him doing so in mind, what is it, and why didn't you explicate this while you had the opportunity?
I think Damo being scum is the less likely scenario. He is more likely in my view to be genuine, and DemonRHK was the Miller.
I am not going to calculate specific odds, that's not my thing.

That's a good question, why scum Chaqa would give the last vote to hammer a town without any need? Just for the giggles?goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 7:01 pmInteresting. Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
In what world does scum out like that....to kill a VT
Like what, how do you even have that thought

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
I agree with Jamiet that Damo is unlikely to be scum here and that Demon was probably the miller. I don't see a scenario where scum would do what Damo did, unless there was a good reason to take Demon out, and I don't see that either.
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Yeah. I know that you've implying something and is almost certainly town but I don't know what.

Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Tem likely, possibly Chaqa and Bungo, FoxC until he purportedly understood but I don't know
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Nobody tell him.
Still catching up.
@gold: I have done no analysis of what happened on the wagon since I was last here. I’m with Tom on this: hammering was dumb dumb dumb. And take it from me, I know dumb.
As for day1? I’ve learned little new. My Damo read was solid (self high-five) and I stand by my previous statement that it appears like ALL the wagons that day were town. So we should TAKE SOME TIME AND ANALYZE!!
Imagine: you’re scum, and every wagon is town. Do you move? Do you shake things up? Remember: the way to win webdip mafia is to not screw up. So giving a WIFOM (or as swordsman puts it yomi 1) play of “yes, I move so this analysis can’t be done later” is stupid. So...go back and look at who was confident. Who wasn’t here. Who was here and didn’t move. You’ll find your scum there.
I think there’s more to be learned there than in analyzing D2 (thanks for hammering)
Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
Despite what he wants you to think he's a pretty devoted town player, and there's been none of that so far. D2 was wait and see and there wasn't much seen. Not to mention his timing on coming in, lolgoldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 7:01 pmInteresting. Re: Mafia 57 Matrix
So to be clear that means you think those people are scummy for that reason.
Bring that back to D1. How do the moves at EOD make sense with those new scum reads? Specifically Bunny's moves. How do the wagons look?
