I think I've figured out Bunnygo's backstory, at it explains their silence.

They are a grizzled veteran of many pirate raids. Once they were captured and their tongue cut. They've also lost a fair number of limbs and have two peg-arms. They can only communicate via their loyal and well trained pet parrot. Unfortunately, their parrot likes to consume booze frequently and is consequently only available irregularly.

I expect all correspondence from BunnyGo to be in parrot speak henceforth.

Not much to say about ghug and Jamiet, both seemed normal. Well, actually I don't know what is normal for ghug.

Has Eden even posted anything of note yet? I will consult peterbot in a while.

Flavor is not important here. We are simple pirates with our tastebuds obliterated from excessive consumption of rum and port.

I think wallposts of flavour are frowned upon. And I think clear communication is important too. But throwing in bits of flavour can be fun. I am currently enjoying kak's roleplay. That may change if they throw more than one wallpost on D2.

I am fairly new to pirating, having only heard stories of pirates being told in the village until recently. They came by at one point and I stowed away on their ship. I was chased off but was able to take some things from that ship to convince another ship to let me on as a pirate. And stuff happened and I ended up here.

I still haven't read much yet and my main opinion is that your posts are too long for me to want to read them from pg 1.

I feel I'm close to find a good balance for it, I often overdid it in the past (even when later flavourposts had ingame thoughts and progression in it, but you can't fight over personal taste), so I had some good chances to learn how far I should go until it isn't fun anymore.

But don't worry, it's nearly 2 am here so I shouldn't be too long awake ... shouldn't ...

Anyway, I see sweet, but I don't see sweet posting.

Come out here and and don't hide! What is your pirate name? What is your opinion on "Captain Kak "Arr" Oto"? Did you drink all the rum?

I was originally a well-educated scholar. One day, while thinking about Maths proofs I was strolling along the harbour when I was pressganged by a group of pirates. Initially chained to the oars, I proved my worth by guiding the ship to familiar waters after a storm blew us astray. I then became a part of the crew proper.

I still don't engage in pirate speak, but I've found the pirate life to be quite liberating and less stodgy than my previous life as a scholar. I am valued by any pirate crew I am part of because of my ability to navigate and plan ambitious raids.

As far as my pirate adventures I take you back to a time on the high seas

captain spits was proudly eyeballing a nearby yacht full of tourists bound for melbourne. So as any reasonable pirate crew would do we boarded them. At first we skinned them alive and boiled their genitals to make hackey sacks. we found some talented people among their crew who we incorporated into our travelling circus act.
Captain spits decided that we couldnt leave the bodies out in the sun for carrion so we latched them to the largest meat hooks we could and we steered our way to the isle of crete.

It was a long journey but by its end we managed to catch scylla and forced them to do endless song and dance routines for us.

eventually we grew tired of captain spits and we performed a mutiny. we fed spits to scylla and she swallowed.
