Well I thought we maybe get something. A hint, some revelation about the enemy, maybe a number or two, with that I feel lost now, but I guess that's what a closed setup is supposed to do.

What do you think about my ideas about the 3rd party? We might not have only one threat but two?

There is absolutely no way of anybody knowing that unless they are Third Party.

I think this game is supposed to be a mini and I don't remember a mini with a third party, so my guess is we don't have one.

Jamiet, do you think a 3rd party Kak will start the game asking about 3rd party?

Also, I have not read anything so far – because reading vs not depends on whom y'all want me to Impersonate:

- Bozo would read every post

- BK3K would not read much of anything

- Swordsman / PrincessNeon would be overwhelmed and not read anything for first 2 days, then announce that they are going to read everything and "prepare for reply spam" just to walk it back and say "nope, too much, give up" a few posts later

Do you have any thoughts on what this closed setup might be? I have this peculiar sense that we've all recieved the vanilla townie PM and there are NO mafia present. No Nightkills. Just us routinely executing VTs all game long. Brain and Darg laughing wildly while the rest of us fume.

I think we shouldn't think of what exact role PM we got but think about possible setups, at least what should be practical possible. More about this later from me, I want to look at in more detail, but for now we shouldn't speculate about roles, just affiliation.

there is no official information about the setup, I thought because of the flavour there might be a 3rd party, but Jamies and Flums input makes very much sense, so for now, we shouldn't be too concerned about that, because it is just baseless speculation.

If this game has typical balancing, there should be only 3 non-town roles with only 12 players.

Going super deep into the rabbit hole here: but the fact Eden and Chaqa reviewed this setup, there could be some misc. shit BB custom made for it…

I was also thinking about what we could expect from a 12 player game, but as I said before, more to that later. I want to have these thoughts in one post after I caught up.

Ok so anyway, I will address why I said it was "slight sus" of Hamilton Brian to start numbering his posts.

Basically it just looks like try-harding. That is, the vibe I instinctively got from it was of someone being a little bit too eager to earn brownie points early; a little too eager to show that they'd read the rules and knew 10 posts were required. Maybe it's nothing, but I got a bad vibe from it.

to be fair, brain pushed this information onto us multiple times in the sign up thread, so that might be why it made an impression (I mean I even responded to that that neither rd nor bozo confirmed the 10 post at each day minimum, though I'm glad that I misunderstood that both would be eliminated for that).

Personally, I see it at annoying because it feels like those posts aren't meant as fully honest and are just there to push up the post number. Then again, would mafia do something like that? Normally town people do dumb sh ... things, but not so much mafia, right?
