My point was that those types of town tells are often faked by scum, so not only should Claesar and MoscowFleet not be town read for them, but I find them slightly suspicious for the obviousness of the town tells. If Claesar wanted to know what "private time" meant and MoscowFleet wanted to know what the "west" reference was about, they could have easily found out by reading the setup rather than publicly asking the questions.

The private time is also mentioned in the mafia PMs so if it was a fake towntell it was very preciously crafted. Moscow's was less telling.

Maybe you are the one townslipping now by not realizing that the mafia's PMs also mention private time? Or maybe you want us to believe that?

All of the role PMs mention the "private time" but only the doc role PM explains it, but you are right, it is not necessarily a town tell that indicates he only read the VT role PM.

Well, here's the thing. I don't really think I talk a lot more as either alignment. It just so happened that the one recent game where I was mafia, I didn't have a lot going on so was able to participate a lot. But I could be wrong I guess, maybe that's just what it seems like to me

The thread is quiet. With this vanilla setup we should start to lynch lurkers sooner, maybe on D2 or D3.

For now, ##vote Moscow because he can't smell.

Why start on D2 and not D1? I agree that we don't want lurkers, but why do they (or us I suppose) get a free first day? I blame the late start time for my absence so far, but it seems I only missed six pages.

Because it's hard to identify who is lurking on D1. It could be just a busy day or getting drunk with friends. On D2 you have 5 RL days, so there is no excuse.
Also, a policy Lynch on D1 give little to analyze later.
