The year 2076, the human population unsure whether global warming exists (it does). However, they keep trying to reverse the damage they do only too late.

The lace monitor is now severely endangered following the rising sea levels washing out the mangroves and making the once plentiful low tide mudflats now essentially nothing more than a boring coral reef (although no one remembers what they are like cause the last of those died back in 56).

Every so often a sad animal video goes online, and many people comment their sadness. To this day, that still does nothing.

Meanwhile, our great protagonist was making ground. He was, however, not ready to attack just yet.
