Just re-reading Sabi and I realised I didn't answer this, sorry.

I did actually go away for an hour, then I came back close to EoD. If you look at the timestamps of my posts you'll see that I was absent for almost exactly an hour.

I actually had to drink a Tom Collins because they had no tomato juice. Imagine calling yourself a cocktail bar and not being able to make a Bloody Mary?! The things I have to put up with. No wonder I'm irritable sometimes.

I'm spending some time today reviewing my opinion on everyone in the game. I'll post in groups of a few at a time.

Aarodactyl - Null. Seemed towny to me D1 but has dropped off in participation since then and seems kind of.... flaky?

BesharamSabi - Scum lean. Very weird this game. The self-enforced 10-posts-per phase thing is not entirely helpful but isn't AI either because Sabi said they'd do it before the game started. However it's making them hard to read and I don't like it. I'm bothered by the inconsistency and unexplained read shift on Damo so I'd like an explanation on that.

Bonatogether - Scum lean. Almost hyperactive on D1, getting into a silly argument with Durga which made a lot of noise but didn't do anything useful. My take at the time was that Bona was applying double standards by hectoring Durga for "evidence" of her read on him, which Durga had clearly stated was just a hunch, while at the same time basing his own apparent scumreads on "awkward interactions". Constantly posting but only paying attention to things involving Durga or TFB - didn't even know why there was a wagon on Damo, for example. Then today we've had a repeat of the situation except it was a long and pointless argument with TFB instead. Sometimes it benefits a scum team to have a loud, attention-seeking member who masquerades as bad town while their team-mates keep a lower profile. Especially with Scum Daychat, they could be encouraging Bona to keep stirring up shit like this.

Celaph - Town lean. Was absent for a while but has seemed engaged and productive on return. Answering questions, engaging with people, no red flags at this point.

This opening screams town to me. Scum want to look busy and useful, here Prxxy is putting a lot of effort into something and asking people not to read it. It seems very genuine.

Prxxy was on my ‘would vote for’ list but is now off it all together. They shouldn’t be a wagon imho.

Good morning, this was the first post I saw so I got you.

1. Look at Rdr will and testament. He said if I die vote for damo. I don't scum read damo. All I said do I respect rdr last wishes. Easy mistake to make.

2. If you see my vote explanation (http://webdiplomacy.net/contrib/phpBB3/ ... 31#p298331) , there's a 2 parter:
1) at the time I didn't think people were going to vote for Maniac (but checking the bot I see they are so ##VOTE Maniac)
2) I wanted to pressure Bona to actually interact with me and it looks like he did (will post his response next)

My primary question is whether Sabi was around at EoD. Their last post was with 16 minutes to go before Durga’s wagon really took off. And their first post during the night was 7 minutes after the flip so it is not unreasonable to say that they were away. Assuming they were away, I don’t see anything scummy in their votes. They were unhappy with the wagons and voted off them. All that makes sense.

If they were not away for irl reasons, then I’m a little more suspicious. I wouldn’t tend to leave the game having just left my vote on a wagon where no one else was voting. Also, if they were watching the thread, why did they not push back against the Durga wagon given their previous townread?

HI I was in and out through out eod because I was in a zoom meeting, as stated. EOD during work weeks are tough even tho the timing of this games eod is better for me. I do regret not being able to save durga.

So just to be clear, I understand this to mean that you were never actually proposing to vote Damo, you were just noting the fact that Rdr said "kill Damo".

If have indeed understood this correctly, then there is no need to use up one of your posts to confirm that.

The Tom Collins is a great cocktail because it's a real test of the skill of the bartender. It is so simple in principle, and has only four ingredients, yet the difference between a bad Tom Collins, and a good one, is all about the balance of those ingredients.

Certainly if Kak is scum he could easily see me as a viable mk especially with TFB seeking an info kill. However as I would flip town I think minimal info would be gained.

I would rather vote Bona or Sabi than Kak but if Kak became a viable wagon and the other weren't then yes I would vote Kak.
