It wouldn't have been a tie though.

It would've if he had voted bozo
Re: M1023: Mafarmia [GAME THREAD] [HIDDEN]
Sorry, yeah you're right. So why didn't he? A tie is better than a certain towndeath.
Re: M1023: Mafarmia [GAME THREAD] [HIDDEN]
I had a look for that but I didn't find it just by searching through the thread for damo, probably was a reaction in context to another post that gave me the creep. Though I'm tired so I'll do a better reread tomorrow. I don't believe I've imagined that post so it has to be there.
Re: M1023: Mafarmia [GAME THREAD] [HIDDEN]
only in numbers but that leaves town with less information and since the situation isn't solved at that day it will most likely repeat itself the next day so town loses a day (since mafia will just kill a town that isn't involved)

Well, first sorry for missing EOD as I said I would.
I won't be a hypocrite and call people about voting Celaph as I have a scum feeling about him too.
I find weird Bona ending at same wagon as Bozo.
I changed a bit my scum suspects but will try to post at EON about it.

celaph wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 5:34 amI don't really care to check the games since M67 because I seem to remember you breaking the trend since, but I posted this in M67 when you were scum and voted Chaqa D1. I think the more pertinent info, at least at the time, is that scum ghug likes to portray town ghug as more wild than town ghug really is.
celaph wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 7:24 amAlso, does it not bother you that the last time ghug did this (M65) you two were scum? Side note because I was curious, town ghug doesn't vote for Chaqa D1.
Town Ghug: M57, M61, M62, M66 didn't vote for Chaqa D1.
Scum Ghug: M60, M63, and M65 did vote for Chaqa D1.
Chaqa subbed in part way through M57 so that counts less and going back further than that is much less meaningful as we have to skip to M39 to find another game they played together. But even still I think it's far more likely that ghug is defaulting to someone he knows that he can miskill than just a general dislike for Chaqa.

is this bozo cracking a joke?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 7:00 amStudies show that mafia tend to interact wit each other early, making a BunnyGo/Bonatogether scum team a possibility.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 1:18 amNot this time. Which is good. I'm home sick with covid, and can barely keep my eyes open. So I'm typing this with my eyes closed. I don't think i could play my normal scumgame like this. But after some time away, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can enjoy and lean into a towngame.

@heart, has this changed?heartthrob24909 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:26 pmI have a sense of u, of Bunny, worcej, and then everyone else is blended togetherBonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:20 pmare you getting a sense of personalities yet? i didn't distinguish between many people for most of my first gameheartthrob24909 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:18 pm
Hi bona. I hope not. I’m trying to parse out how much of what u guys are saying is based off this game vs what u know abt each other from past ones. In any case u don’t seem like scum to me. Just someone who has a lot to say

@heart what do you think about the motivations of people in this game? either in general or for any specific personheartthrob24909 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:48 pmYeah I feel like in my game we didnt dig into motivations that much so I like that idea. And focusing on ID’ing town is smart too, thanks. Def expecting a challenge since idk you guys yetBonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:44 pmmy primary way of scumhunting is looking for people deviating from how they normally play, which obviously you can't do here.heartthrob24909 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:40 pm
Well the last game I played I fucking sucked at it soooo the theories r still developing. But I was looking out for ppl being too defensive, or always voting with a pack, or flip flopping their accusations a lot. What kinda stuff do u suggest? Idt I’m quite over the learning curve
you can look at voting patterns and such, or look to see if people's arguments make sense as coming from a townie mindset, or etc. what you have listed makes a fair amount of sense but with some of that stuff (flip flopping accusations, for ex), i think you'd have to look at motivations, situation, and outcomes to really say if it's towny or scummy.
one other thing you can do is, instead of scumhunting, you can look for town and then just vote in the pool of people you have not identified as town.
Re: M1023: Mafarmia [GAME THREAD] [HIDDEN]
Had a look at first 2 days' votes with the following observations:
Bozo and Bona are double townkillers.
Bozo's D1 move from Chaqa to Bunny making it 3-3 from 4-2 is noteworthy but Chaqa's late move to Bozo D2 confuses.
Lot of votes putting Bozo in danger D2 so on the face of it if he is scum his partners lie in {Bona, bo, heart, worcej}. However as Bozo is 2s on to be town I think going this route is too risky.
I still favour a Chaqa flip.
Ofc night events may alter this.
Let's see.
