Why are people scumreading Maniac? I have him as a solid town read, I don't think scum Maniac would push Xorxes the way he did.

I think the case on you came from a town perspective as I had the same feeling. I didn't remember the vote on BG and had to look on the bot. It's a weak reasoning maybe but I fail to see it as scummy.

What exactly was the feeling that you shared with Maniac? He purportedly had the feeling that when I said that his vote was lazy, I was subrepticiously trying to manipulate him into solidifying his scumread of BG. Do you think that's sensible?

It's possible foodcoats' comment at 619 was still sticking in my head, but it was still sloppy play so sorry about that.

This read-list was originally born out of a response to Expresso's list early on (ie. he thinks this. Do I agree? Why/why not) which may also have inserted a bias into the reads that tended to leave people in their original (ie, expresso) category unless I had a reason to move them one way or the other. The problem is I still don't actually know anything, but since I can't point to body language I'll endeavour to do a clean read overnight.

Let me try to be as clear as I can. I don't know if you were trying to manipulate Maniac or not (on a quick reread now, probably not), but I think he can have felt being manipulated. I don't see why scum Maniac would say something like that.

This relates on me feeling you were trying to manipulate Bozo to scum read me.

I really hope you can now understand what I am saying or we just agree to disagree and move on because it's not advancing the game.

And as to “fascinating”, I did say I was wrong. It’s also possible I initially read your opposition to Plan Bozo as being based on personality, and as you’d been decrying that from the start of the game then that would have seemed a little contradictory.

But from my current point of view of targeting monomania or people trying to keep a low profile and not get involved at all, his insistence on pursuing his plan (early or not) read as suspect and your explanation read well.
