While I had never heard of Terry Davis before (that I remember, at least), he seems quite notable, judging at least by the length of his Wikipedia article, a quite interesting read which I doubt I would have stumbled upon on my own.

Wouldn't the game be boring if the picks were all Miley Cyrus anyway?

P.S. I'm not really sure if I'd heard of Vecna before either.

Vecna was a good pick. Yet, Terry Davis is still more popular than some of the other picks. There has been numerous cases where I didn't know the pick prior to the game.

For myself, the answer is 47 I didn't know before. (It's out of a few more than 100 people, because of the special rounds.)

Again, I view this as a good thing, because part of the reason I play the game is to find out about interesting people.
