In terms of physical appearance, is this character more similar to a human than to any other living mammal species that exists in reality?

Mammalian?
Hm... Pass, leaning yes.
there are a few reasons this might be a pass i think

Free guess: Winnie-the-Pooh (mostly to clue people in on what I'm thinking)

if no: is this figure a representation of an animal that exists in real life?

Is the novel this character was introduced in generally considered fantasy?

I love this guess, except I'm not sure that the book he was introduced in qualifies as a novel.

Great guess, unfortunately it is not Pooh.

Not a representation of an IRL animal.

Instantiated since 1900?
Can we get clarification on how the QM is defining "instantiated"? Because my understanding is that this means the character has been represented in some form since 1900, but not necessarily for the first time.

I just interpreted it as "created".

Ha! Looking up fantasy novels that literally came out in 1945 was crazy enough to actually work.

Next thread will be up soon, once I think of someone.
