Don’t worry, it’s him. I confess that I’ve never read the book, but after a Gilligan’s Island pick I had to keep the chain going somehow.

i haven't read it either. my strategy was to methodically work through the Wikipedia category for every novel published in the 1700s. luckily there weren't many and Crusoe was fairly early in the century
