Re: 20 Questions Game 372
By the way - I technically do not have conclusive evidence about this person’s birthplace, but they are generally assumed to be from a certain place and so I am answering as if that place was their birthplace.

Re: 20 Questions Game 372
Between the lesbian/pansexual questions floating around recently, the previous choice of a woman from a love poem, and the fact that we haven’t had someone from the ancient/classical world for a while, I had to pick Sappho.
Also, continents didn’t come up this round, but Lesbos is apparently just 5.5km/3.4mi away from Turkey/Asia Minor. It probably still counts as Europe, but it’s an interesting edge case.

Re: 20 Questions Game 372
That was actually a really impressive guess, given the information we had. Good choice too.
I'm not sure what continent Lesbos is part of, but in the Tsarnaev round I was trying to ask about transcontinental countries and I listed Greece.

Ah, I guess I was following the caterpillar line a bit too hard. Didn't even consider the possibility of it being a real person. Great round!

Oh, none in particular. Just thought of what a caterpillar best known for committing a crime would wear, and a trench coat came to mind.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 7:44 pmOut of curiosity, what was the caterpillar you had in mind?
