If I can represent greater Cascadia, I'd do that. if it need be official, Oregon or Washington will work. If I get Cascadia, i'll rock the flag as my pic though

This event has now reached the largest signup enrollment of any webdip mafia event breaking the record barrier of 26 players. Thank you all for joining and adding your names.

If you have not joined be advised we need subs we need altnernates and if we reach 36 players before game 3 has begun we can even ADD AN ADDITIONAL GAME with an ADDITIONAL GM with another setup. So keep signing up and go TEAM! gO Go Go team!

Michael Phelps and stuff
I thought your game M89 had 27 players? Not counting subs, of course.

Olympic Game Setup

Spy vs Spy… During a Cold War Olympics The Cold War between East and West simmered warmly during the Olympic Contests of those years. The Olympics were recruiting grounds and competitive grounds for agencies such as the C.I.A. and the K.G.B.

Regular webDiplomacyMafia rules are in play, other than noted below.

In this game, we have two Mafia Teams. They are Spies, and the Team goals are to survive and to eliminate the opposing Spy Team. They will accomplish this by DayKills (voting), NightKills (when they have a factional NightKill power), and recruitment.

Voting: Every player, no matter the faction, is required to vote by the End of Day. A No-Kill result is legal.

Spy Night Actions: Each night, the Mafia Teams choose one of two actions. They may NK, or Recruit. They MUST perform one of these actions.

Night Kill: ONLY the mafia Spy Team that has more members than their opponent mafia Spy Team at the beginning of the Night phase, will have a factional Night Kill available. This kill is not performed by an individual.

Recruitment: At night, the Mafia Team can choose (by majority) any other player to recruit to their team. Unlike the NK, this action is performed by an assigned Team member. This recruiting may NOT be declined by a town player. If a member of the OTHER mafia Spy Team is recruited, the attempt is unsuccessful, and the recruited player learns the identity of the recruiting player.

Posting Minimums: There is a posting minimum of three posts per day.

The town wins when both Mafia Spy Teams are eliminated, or nothing can happen that can prevemt this.

A Mafia Spy Team wins when town AND the opposing Mafia Spy Team are eliminated, or nothing can happen that can prevent this.

There will be 8 townies and 2 spies… one on each of the Mafia Spy Teams.

(IF a mafiaSpy attempts to recruit a member from the other team, NOTHING happens. Although the player on the receiving end will be informed of the attempt, AND the recruiter’s identity. Town is NOT informed.)

(IF both mafSpy teams attempt to recruit the same town player, neither recruitment succeeds, and the townplayer is NOT notified of the attempts.)

Game 2 Bio's

SpiritoftheRadio
Representing Cascadia
Spirit the enigma spanning multiple generations of webdip mafia returns to don the cape of Cascadia. Spirit has been mafia twice on webdip having won one of the two. His play is solid enough as town that his only game in the last 10 earned a nightkill at a pivotal moment for the town. Spirit first appeared on webdip way back in M33 facing the MVP team of darg and foxcastle who lifted their team back from 4 consecutive scum kills in a row. Spirit was a key vote on three scum in this game including delivering the first vote on scum darg, and a hammer which led to the rest of the town joining him. Spirit has a good nose for catching scum, and came just short of carrying the town in his endgame in M33. Will he be the hero here?

President Eden
Representing Louisiana
President Eden, the Goat, the Visionary, The creator, the legend. This rajun cajun brought mafia to webdiplomacy, and created our ruleset for M1, the first ever mafia game on the old forum. Eden is a veteran player who never gets miskilled, and seems to just never lose as mafia. His winrate as town is 60%, winning 6 of his 10 attempts. His mafia winrate is even better, set at an impossible 75%, winning 3 of the 4 regular games where he was scum. Eden is highly analytical, strategic, and can read a game in hours. In M89 Eden subbed into a game with over 30 possible roles, and almost 200 pages of content. Within mere hours of being subbed in he had the nuances of the setup down to a T and was already correcting peoples mistakes in the game. Eden is the type of player who improves the quality instantly.

TheFlyingBoat

Boatman is a recurring face who pops in every now and then, and typically carries a fan favorite persona. Making his debut back in M56, starting day 2 Boat immediately identified donnydude correctly as mafia and began leading the surge to kill him. We welcome back the boatman with excited cheers!

FlaviusAetius
Flavius is an evil genius. Flavius is an evil genius. Flavius is an evil genius.
This guy has a town meta, and a scum meta that are statistically identical in every metric. In M90 he continued to make long posts filled with capitol letters, brackets and symbols that drove players mad. All as a mask for the fact he was mafia. This guy is extremely talkative, and very excited to play mafia no matter what alignment he rolls. He evaded nearly everyone in M90, on his way to an endgame win with his buddies.

Lfischl
Representing Czech (CZE)
Lfischl was a long time member of webdiplomacy sister community sock drawer. Making a name for himself as being quiet, and elusive he used this talent to win in endgames as mafia. Lfishcl is one of our younger players who brings a new perspective to the game. When he is town, you have to pay attention and actually read his posts. He does have ideas, and thoughts. You just have to actually look for them!

Damo666
Representing: United Kingdom
If ghug is the most dangerous scum player on webdip, then damo is mere milimeters behind that level of skill. Damo is one of the most decorated scum players on the forum. With a 60% winrate in regular games as mafia, as if that isn’t enough… in mini games, damo has been scum 7 times, and has won in all 7 mini games he played. Yes, a 100% winrate out of seven games. Most of which was HIM carrying his team in endgames, and him winning them for his squad. Multiple MVPs, and a mastermind in his own right. His towngame is nothing to scoff at either, out of 41 games, damo managed a 43% winrate as town also. His skills as a PR are typically some of the finest play you will see on webdip.

JustAGuyNamedWill
Representing: Nevada
Will, a newcomer of the sweetandcool/dipandwar/justaguy/dousing era, has shown his skills off in numerous games lately. MVP of M87, the SJS cop in M88, and a brilliant scum win in M89, will is ON FIRE. This guy is a master at playing survivor, and also dabbles in games on mafiauniverse. He recently represented webdiplomacy in champs, and had multiple scum in his crosshairs. His town winrate is 66%, and a mafia winrate of 75%. This guy just seems to always be on a winning team.

Chaqa
Representing: Pennsylvania
Chaqa is the most tenured player on the forum. He began webdip mafia in M1, yes, the first game ever. He is among the top five GMs on the site, a council member, and oh yea, he also has won 6 of his 11 games he has ever been mafia. Chaqa has won many MVP awards for his PR play, and tends to be a note taker. He will tell you he isn’t great on day 1, and usually will wait to start really playing once the early game dust has settled. He doesn’t always like tons of pages to read but chaqa is a pillar of this community and has so much to offer every game he plays in.

Glitterbomb
Representing: Nebraska
Glitterbomb is webdip mafia’s newest member. Their experience at social deduction games includes playing murder mystery games, face to face mafia, the resistance, and many others. Glitterbomb is a huge fan of the show traitors and has watched every season including the new zealand, Australia, and UK seasons, so don’t let their lack of stats fool you, they definitely know how this game works in principle. Also a huge fan of the show the Mole, the Circle, and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team, Glitter bomb is about to drop a glittery bomb on you. So brace yourselves. Oh, and they also happen to be married to none other than (me: brainbomb). Glitterbomb has undergone rigorous training to prepare for these Olympics, being forced to recite mafia slang and abbreviations with their definitions every night before bed. (not really)

Game 3 Bios

Vecna

Vecna has been around since the dawn of webdip mafia. Making his debut in M14 Vecna won as mafia in his first outing. He followed that up with a stellar performance as PR in M15, helping town to win, followed by winning yet again in M16 reverse mafia. Vecna has been a fun player, making numerous hall of fame appearances for his Portrayal of Julius Ceasar, in which he role played his way as mafia through an entire game and won. He has been known for his hilarious drawings he adds to the game. His play typically involves his catchup posts which are a staple of reading vecna’s process. His career town winrate is a 45% among the highest in the community, and his mafia winrate rests at a terrific 50% as well. Vecna is a fantastic fun player who adds tons of intrigue to every game he joins.

Kakarroto
Representing: Vienna
Kak is the most underrated player on webdiplomacy. With a 50% winrate as mafia, and a 55% winrate as town, kakarroto is impossibly hard to eliminate. He is almost never a miskill, he gets murdered by mafia very often, and his posts are fun, mysterious, and interesting. Kak is an incredibly passionate player who fights hard in games to reach a positive outcome. He has endgame carried his team multiple times recently. His play in the last 50 games on webdip in particular have been superb.

Hearthrob
Nothing tugs at your strings more than seeing heart join a mafia game. People chant his name in corners of the discord, and call out for him in forum threads to return. And lo, upon a steel chariot drawn by Pegasi, Heart has arrived for these Olympics. With a 50% town winrate, and a win in his only scum game, hearts stats have yet to be baptized fully to know for sure just how great he could be. But it sure seems like it’s a good start!

Fluminator
Representing: Canada
Fluminator is another unique veteran of the forum. An expert in survivor games, and a regular player on Mafiascum; fluminator is noted for how rarely he is ever scum. In M89 it was noted that among active players, flum has only ever been mafia 11% of the time. Ironically he was randed in M89 as town, and was recruited to join the mafia team, which he blissfully accepted. Noted for amazing plays when he as been a PR flum has been a 2 shot vig before who killed two of the three scum in a game. As Army Veteran in M19 he helped get multiple mafia killed without having to lift a finger. When he was finally scum he managed to win only 1 of the 3 but don’t let that stat fool you. Fluminator is very difficult to catch when he is mafia, and his ability to mimic his town game is fantastic.

Jamiet99uk
Representing: United Kingdom
Jamiet99uk joined webdip mafia in M15 and has been a staple of the community since. He is one of the forums most frequent GMs, served on the council, and has won many games as both town and mafia. His most recent game M90 he was able to win as scum, with over 250 posts on day 1. Jamie can do things as scum that most people don’t ever even dare to attempt. Jamie is fiery, passionate, and loves a good debate. In M89 he had most of the scumteam identified and was killed for his quality of play.

Kingofpirates
Representing: China
KOTP! KOTP, bursting on the scene during the last 10 games KOTP has quickly become a regular in the games. His performances as Vanilla Cop in M89, has given him an early 50% winrate as town. KOTP is one of our younger, fresh minds that tends to ask a lot of questions. His scumgame is also close in its appearance to his town game, so this guy is just a natural already. Watch out for Kirby, he might get ya!

Sweetandcool
Representing: Liechtenstein
Sweet is a fascinating statistical web. First he has been mafia three times, and won every time despite dying day 1 in each of those outings. Sweet is a team player, but he likes to stoke the fire. He loves to rile people up and do gimmicks. His skill level as town is exceptional and without fail, sweet will always catch mafia early and often. You just have to pay attention to him, but his performance in M80 as town helped to kill multiple mafia, and he basically saved the game. In his research he found logical arguments for why ghug would have been innocent that game. Town changed directions and went on to win because of his effort. In M88 sweet was the cop and put out a performance like we have never seen. Managing to survive to the end of the game and making it impossible for scum to win by way of mechanical scans. All the while pretending to not be the cop, and the mafia just bought it hook line and sinker. Sweet is by far one of the best players to hop onto webdip in the last 60 games.

Rdrivera2005
Representing: Brasil
Rdr has been town more than any other person on webdip. 46 games as town with a winrate of 41%. Rdr is a quite but efficient player. He plays well under pressure and tends to catch mafia with ease. Now lets talk about the absolute monster that is rdrivera as mafia. This guy just always ends up in endgames. The big three scum players of webdip are ghug, damo and rdrivera, and if you can believe it they have all been a team together several times as well. Rdr boasts the second best mafia winrate of anyone on the forum at 57% winning 8 of his 14 games. It doesn’t stop there, he also has a 50% winrate as mafia in mini games also. This guy is a tank, and he almost never gets killed as scum by any town team.

TheMadMonarch
Monarch is a fluttery little butterfly that shows up to play and lulls you to sleep. With a 50% winrate as mafia they will ensure that you forget they are in a game. In M89 they pretended to be missing, causing most players to assume they were just on the brink of being replaced at all times. Meanwhile this elusive killer murdered ghug early game with a Janitor kill and continued to hide watching 4 consecutive town miskills before finally being mechanically caught by BunnyGo. Monarch brings a very unique style to the game, and they will always catch you if you are a spammy scum as well.
