It looks like Aristocrat got 2, Spartaculous got 2, and I got 2. Not sure how who does the next round is determined, but I'm happy to defer to either Aristo or Sparty.
According to the rules it is actually you (longest without being qm) but if you want to pass it to Sparty I am ok with that too (I will pass given that I just ninja'd a few answers here at the end).

So in summary, the theme was the 7 deadly sins.

We have:

Person A - Gilbert Baker, creator of the Gay Pride flag. Went by the drag name Busty Ross, a play on Betsy Ross. (guessed by Spartaculous)
Person B - Erika Lust, Swedish director/writer/producer of feminist pornography. (guessed by Aristocrat)
Person C - Ernst vom (w)Rath, Nazi German diplomat who was assassinated by Polish-Jewish teenager Herschel Grynszpan in 1938. Unfortunately, this was used a pretext for Kristallnacht, "the night of broken glass". (guessed by Spartaculous)
Person D - Glutonny, French Super Smash Bros player and Wario main, considered the best in Europe. (guessed by Aristocrat)
Person E - Sid the Sloth, from the movie Ice Age. (guessed by han-shahanshah)
Person F - Greedo, alien bounty hunter from Star Wars. (guessed by DougJoe)
Person G - Envy Adams, fictional pop star and ex-girlfriend from Scott Pilgrim vs the World. (guessed by DougJoe).

We have a 3 way tie, but by the "longest drought" rule I think DougJoe is the winner? Or should we have a tiebreaker?

I forgot about the "longest drought" rule. Ok, I'll go ahead and run one! Game 341 to come later today.

No pressure! You can always defer if you want. But am excited to see a new round either way - I feel bad for monopolizing the 20 questions forum for a week.

A welcome respite from the rapid-fire, to be honest (though I missed this round)

Some behind-the-scenes info:

I had originally come up with a different set of 7 with a different theme but they were almost impossible to guess without figuring out the theme. I might use one of the more recognizable ones as a target later. I also considered a planets theme, but Freddie Mercury was already done.

Then I decided on the 7 deadly sins as a famous set of 7. I had previously wanted to pick Gilbert Baker during Pride Month, so he was in. I was going to pick people whose actions were in same way related to the "sin" i.e. a sex symbol for lust, a billionaire or maybe Scrooge McDuck for greed, a competitive eater or Kirby for gluttony, Rip van Winkle or Snorlax for sloth, etc.

But I got worried that people wouldn't be able to figure out the theme easily, so instead I changed it to targets whose names were the names of the "sins" themselves. Sid the sloth, Greedo, and Envy Adams came to mind immediately. The others were found by Wikipedia searching (though I had very vaguely heard of them before). I kept Gilbert Baker as Pride even though he didn't exactly fit the new theme, and only later remembered Kitty Pryde from X-Men as a great alternative choice.

I hope this was an enjoyable round despite how long it was up, and that the picks were not too out there. I would be down to host a smaller multi-target round in the future - I have ideas for 3-answer and 5-answer ones that should hopefully be easier.

E is Sid the sloth (?)
I love the fact that sloths are named, well, sloths. Like, Europeans had this word to describe extreme laziness, and then went over to the Americas, found this animal, and were like, yep, the name "sloth" fits them *perfectly*.

I definitely feel like I was doing ninja work as well - in terms of chronological order, I got the 5th and 7th correct answers after everyone else figured out the theme.

Check out Round #128 (the first one I ever participated in) - it took a full two weeks to run.

See rounds 195 and 204. (I've also considered doing something akin to round 95 and surreptitiously deleting the "no repeats" rule and seeing if anyone notices.)

There should be animals named after the other sins, at any rate.

The Robert the Bruce thing is amusing, was it a mistake or an intentional joke?

Also, as pointed out in a previous round, there is another way to play coy with the “no repeats” rule…

Actually, I just remembered wolverines were also called “gluttons”.

Intentional joke. See the last page of Round #2, plus Round #42 (along with many rounds in between). (There's a lot of interesting 20Q history in the days before I started playing.)
