Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
I think I am done analyzing more or less, until we see the flip and NK.
Tragic we missed the deadline ):
Then again, since we don't have night chat anyways, maybe GM could bend the night length rules a bit? Provided Mafia and Clerk privately agree?
I think to make up for lack of night chat we should have shortened it to 12 hours or something. Alas, that's hindsight.

I agree there is nothing left to do until D7.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 8:05 pmI think I am done analyzing more or less, until we see the flip and NK.

Well, unless people are still analyzing, I propose we hammer, and then we all throw a night hammer in as well. Hopefully we then will avoid a long night.

I am good ending.
I am not good with you analysis though Sweet. If you're looking at me as the remaining mafia, you've deduced incorrectly. I know that's my own doing; super low and absent; present just enough to cause initial controversy (damn it, why didn't mafia find those crumbs and kill me first) and cast some votes.
Say I flip, and I will definitely flip VT, where's that leave your analysis then? Not just you but anyone who presumes the mafia is within me and one other person?
Anyway, ##end

Yeah, I don't think it's exactly a slam dunk.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 8:48 pmI am good ending.

But I'm unable to completely reassess until we flip Dip. Who really should be Mafia. If they are somehow Miller, then that will certainly change the calculus of the situation.

I have more or less solved the situation. Balki is cop, and is certain enough of his scumread of me that he has decided to claim to have scanned me being scum. This isn't going to get us anywhere, as after I flip town (who knows, I might even be the miller - that would be quite amusing), scum will almost definitely kill him, and then two town have died for nothing, including the only PR left. However, nobody can be bothered to disagree with a claimed scan, so even though I've figured this out, I can't do anything with it. Scum must be laughing at me right now. I'm done with this.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
another day, another test. luckily not ap (so no more money into the EVIL college board's pockets), but a stressful one nonetheless. But I'm back. but it seems there isn't much fanfare, no major developments. I'd like to ask though, Dip and war, what do you mean by this?
are you referring to a scum plan, and also the members of the scum team? or are you referring to what you claim Balki is doing (claiming scam simply because of a scum read)?

Olim Tinforged had a secret. A grand secret he had uncovered while conspiring with his fellows. One that would serve him if he could escape. But as this day progressed, he realized too late he may not live to take advantage of his newfound knowledge. As half the remaining workers turned against him, he decided that he would take his secret to the grave - and soon.

Re: Mafia 88: Murder at the Meadery - GAME THREAD
Froki Fernman was an odd man out at the meadery. He had been hired by the Foreman long ago, and many had eyed him suspiciously throughout their isolation. Many were sure he was involved in the conspiracy - "he had to be!" they would say. But Froki was innocent, despite all the evidence, and despite the Foreman's jacket he had stolen, and the fact he had stolen all the desserts from the pantry.
"Someone might get the wrong idea about me," he thought to himself as he walked down the hall late at night, planning to do some work and then take a nap in the abandoned office of the foreman. With him, he had a stack of papers he had found, and wondered what the scrawlings on them meant. He recognized the words to be Olim's, which made him wonder if he could solve this whole mystery if he examined them close enough.
He did not hear Qarl Thrush put the rope around his neck, nor did he get a chance to scream before the hard shove to the ground pushed the air out of his lungs. The papers he carried flew away, with one piece landing next to him. Soon he would give up struggling, and in his last moments his eyes caught a few words from a paper that landed nearby.

Wow! Good job Balki!
So is the Clerk going to reveal their last scan?
I was RB, so Clerk should have gotten something.

It is fortunate that the real Cop did not scan Balki and announce a guilty on him!
