So what do you guys think was the best move? Not engine-wise but in your own opinion?
30... Bd3+ was a pretty high-class move, in my opinion.

Probably 13. f4 Bb7, that was the move where black began to gain an advantage and force white to respond to each attack.

Why does everyone always forget about economy and moral? I mean, if you can sell your stocks at the right time, you’ve got an ensured victory.

So, I asked Lichess for a computer analysis of the game. Turns out the only mistake for Black was 24... Qxb2, which I made. Oops.

All fun and games until you get a Black Thursday incident and crash the global economy. Much more consistent to play it safe and slow with government bonds.

Good game, would be happy to do another one of these.
I think I would play another round as well; I would defer to someone else to do the signups and setup.

I'd be happy to set up a new game.

Oh good, the game is over. Now I can comment.

It was fun watching the game unfold! Though I was sputtering during the draw offer discussion, when Black was completely winning, with an extra piece and a better position to boot.

Did you look at all at 11... Bxg5? I was trying to figure out if Black would have enough counterplay to make up for the exchange.

Yes, that is an idea in the position that I looked at. I don't think it is so bad, but I think in the end Ra7 is pretty good because it allows you to swing it over with Rd7, an ideal square for the rook.

This worked out really nicely when White decided to waste a move Be3, chasing Black's rook to the square he wanted to be, and making a move like Bb7 playable for Black.

I really think the start of White's problems occured at 9. Ng5?!. I would strongly prefer to place my Bishop there with Bg5 instead. That way White can remove Black's Knight any time they want, destroying a defender of the extremely critical d5 square.
