Chaqa attempted to speedhammer me in the hope I was absent from the thread.
It backfired on him and we briefly tried to speedhammer him instead.

What I have gleaned from catch up:

Jamie is locktown

Scum are playing well

Town are floundering

Unsure if Eden's frustration is genuine. Even if it is does that preclude him from being scum?
I have thoughts on the final point but I think others' are more useful right now. Bug me about it tomorrow.
Please tell.

Quote facility back.

by the way the comment about pride week and Jamie was very strange and I dont think comments like that are a good way to go. It trivilizes Jamie being bisexual and I dont think thats right to do in this arena.
I was not offended by it, just to be clear. I think it was an irrelevant remark but it did not offend me.

I wanna understand bozo. like once and for all. who is this guy, what does he do for a living; what is his family life like. what are his hobbies. who is this guy? like I just cant understand how any of this ISO can come from someone who is a real person living in this universe
Bozotheclown is an IBM System/370 mainframe computer originally installed at the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1972, and moved to the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in 1979. It (or "he" if you like) was partly upgraded to near-308X capability in 1983.

It/he slowly became self-aware during the mid 1990s. In the early 2000s students at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College began to play "Werewolf", a game created by Dimitry Davidoff in 1986, on the college's electronic bulletin boards, which were still running on Bozo at the time. At this time he encountered Ghug, Bo_Sox, Xorxes and a few other people who were students at the college. Gradually he/it learned to emulate the gameplay of this game and began entering himself as a player on other sites, including webDiplomacy although, as is evident from his posts, he still struggles to fully mimic a real human player.

His hobbies include processing complex algorithms, running simulations of weather patterns, listening to the music of Diana Ross, and computer chess.

LOL I forgot my strategy that game was to spam the bee movie script to break the bot. Sometimes I impress myself with my unorthodox strategies.
Why am I reading this instead of the game
Oh wow THAT game. That was a riot. I fakeclaimed cop with a guilty on Maniac, got town Maniac killed, but I survived to the end because JOAT Bozo used his copscan on me and cleared me. I did, however, correctly scumread you, Fluminator. A rare example of a game where I outright lied as town, lived until the end of the game, and town won!

##Vote Jamiet for now.
I still think he's scummy, and nothing I do can lower his opinion of me anyway since it's already rock bottom so it's a vote I'm happy going to bed with.
Actually you are improving and I'd rather not vote you today.

Why do you think I'm scum? You have not provided a clear argument.

Bozo, Ghug, Pyxxy, Damo
is now my pool.

Bona is not out of contention but I'm voting Ghug or Bozo today.

in an abstract a scumteam of bozo-pyxxy-bona sees the town divided and sees no reason to let any of the big talkers stop tunneling each other

they fear ill be doc saved

so they choose someone who makes bozo look good and helps pyxxy have one less voter in play.

its a thought
that's a plausible thought.

Yeah!

I thought I was done with the game since no doc would ever save me and I’m widely townread.
Being widely town read is your scum tell.
can anyone corroborate if there is any truth to this statement. what is this logic? is this really a thing?
Surprisingly there's lots of truth to this logic. I die early and often as town, and regularly go several days without being looked at by the majority of players as scum.

Ghug opening feels scummy

Oh man…I’m voting Ghug so hard here. Would end

Gah! Gotta reset

But also…gotta get ghug
i hate that i believe this
I forgot about this lol. Bunny, was this actually your secret notes on ghug? What happened to your scumread on him anyway?
Got less sure, and damo went up the ranks.

And yeah...those were my actual messages to the GT.

Eden hating that he believed that felt scummy, but also felt like confbias that I thought it was scummy.

I dunno...his reread is not dissimilar to what I did last game for kaka. This is within scum!flum's ability.

I think more than rereading, what he did well is calm things down.

actually is Bona/pyx truly off the table here

what stops Bona from faking a dumbtell about his partner
Unless bona's scum game has developed to a different place from the times I played with him, he doesn't think "what crazy thing can I do?!"

that kinda makes me want to get pyx

I recognize that doesn’t logically follow so I’m gonna think it over more
Im actually surprised youre so self aware that you fear making a scumread on pyx. You dont have to pad such a read, you have votes on you but being cautious is kind of pointless at this point anyway
Why did you skip to this post and not answer his questions about your read?

I think I'm getting soft.

The top 3 wagons are eden, ghug, and bozo and I should probably vote one, but I feel like I'll be disappointing them if I'm wrong and I hate that feeling lol.
We should DK ghug or PE, and if they are mafia, DK the other.
you think this is all theatre?

Bona pyx and Bunny are possible.
Great, could we be the whole scum team in your opinion? Or just random people? Like, do you see my jumping on bona and pyx early like I did?

Good talk, damo.

Ok, well....I'm at my parents' today all day.

For those of you fortunate enough to have parents you like (or at least don't dislike) give them a call today. It's a nice thing to do while you can.

Oh. And brain has left my town reads. Something started feeling off on his role plays and then he ducked Eden’s question.
