##CHALLENGE #1 RESULT:

The spectacle was unlike anything ever seen in the Colosseum. The Gladiators dressed as Hannibal’s Barbarian Horde soundly defeated the Roman Legionaries and then Emperor Commodus himself came down from his seats to meet the Gladiators.

The Emperor stroad out into the ring, with a confident look on his face and surveyed the Gladiators. One amongst them stood from kneeling in the sand, an arrow cusped in his hand.

“Gladiator! You fought bravely, what is your name?” The Emperor said amused

The Gladiator muttered, “My name is Gladiator” before turning his back on the Emperor.

Horrified, Emperor Commodus took a step forward, “Slave, tell me your name now!”

The Gladiator turned and removed his helmet. Then inched forward, arrow in hand, “My name is Maximus Decimus Meridus, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true Emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.”

The Emperor stepped back horrified, but he was too slow and sensing an opportunity Maximus leaped forward plunging the arrow into Commodus’ throat. The Emperor fell to the blood soaked sands of the Colosseum dead.

Before any of the Praetorian Guards could react, the Gladiators retreated backwards with Maximus to the center of the Colosseum.

NEPHTHYS has DIED. He was Emperor Commodus.

The day has reverted to a normal day phase.
