I had a lot of help by a lot of people, mostly inadvertently, but that's the way it always is with any solo, with correct play, no one would ever solo.

Be careful, though. Such instincts have cost far more solos then they have delivered

If everyone always made perfect moves, the game would tend towards a stalemate.

No, it was a gunboat game, and at least 1 of us was annoyed at having to play a ton of extra turns for no reason.

Perfect moves are not always available, and tendencies are not absolutes.

The play philosophies of the players will also have an impact.
