I recently had to disband all units but 1. I was offered to be left alone if I disbanded eveything but an army in Piedmont. Is it possible to keep an army without any supply centers?
Is there an exception for the last unit?
Could I survive a draw with 1 army in Pie

I order to keep a unit on the board, you need a supply centre - no exceptions. Even if the last remaining centre gets invaded in Spring, it technically remains yours in Autumn if you don't retake it. But after the adjustment phase, that is, Builds, you must possess at least one centre in order to keep a unit.

Nope, in this situation I had to disband everything but 1 unit.
