2021 FTF Diplomacy Calendar
FTF Diplomacy Overview
Every year, more than a dozen face-to-face Diplomacy tournaments with anywhere from 20 to over 100 participants take place around the world. Additionally, many cities and locales regularly meet for a couple of games every so often at players' homes, local restaurants, bars, and other sites. Among these groups and in these tournaments you will encounter the most skilled and charismatic Diplomacy minds in the world in very competitive events or simply get to enjoy some casual Diplomacy with drinks and friends if that's more your speed.
Because most events are currently virtual, there are few if any major travel, time, or financial commitments to joining a Diplomacy group or tournament. This is a great time to dip your feet in the water without spending lots of money, traveling abroad, or taking more time off work than you can afford.
---
In this thread, you can find all of the details on scheduled face-to-face Diplomacy tournaments and events in 2021. If you are adjudicating a tournament or a representative of a group that regularly meets, add a post here with your upcoming event and it will be added to the schedule.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic everyone knows about, only virtual events are listed on this calendar for the foreseeable future. If you are meeting in person, your event cannot be listed here at this time. If you have not yet determined whether you are meeting in person or virtually, feel free to post, and when a determination is made simply post again with updated information. We will add it to the schedule in the meanwhile and remove it if you determine you will not be meeting virtually. If you already know that you will be meeting virtually, simply make note of that in your post and it will be added to the schedule.
