WDC 2020 - 11/6-11/8
Booking is now OPEN for WDC 2020, in scenic Mount Snow, Vermont, USA, at 1-800-245-SNOW. Carnage is a large gaming convention, and the general gaming community is also now aware that booking is open, so if you want to get some of the nicer or cheaper (in the lodge only $89!) room options, now is the time to jump on them before they are gone!
There will be a round Friday morning, Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening; all rounds count. On Sunday, there will be a standalone top board that will play through the end of 1908, and which will be accompanied by a bourse; to be followed by the awards ceremony. If you are not local, it is HIGHLY recommended you arrive 11/5, given the early start on 11/6.
The best airport to fly into is Albany, NY, but other options are feasible as well, including Boston, MA; Manchester, NH; Burlington, VT; and Montreal, QC.
If you need assistance with travel, please contact me at [email protected]; hope to see you all there!

So is this November 2019 or November 2020?
Just confused by the timing along with "WDC 2020" in the header. Are Diplo tournaments like car model years?

Is there an official site for this or something? Aside from the generic Carnage site.

If you have a website I'd be happy to link it in the banner for a couple days for more visibility.DavidMaletsky wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2019 1:45 pmBooking is now OPEN for WDC 2020, in scenic Mount Snow, Vermont, USA, at 1-800-245-SNOW. I will be figuring out how to put up and maintain a website independent of www.carnagecon.com in the ensuing months. In the interim, feel free to direct any/all questions to me - [email protected]

Also, it has been brought to my attention that Hartford, CT is also a viable option to fly into. FYI

New York City is about a 4 hour interstate drive away, which isn't bad especially up in that part of the country. For international folks or people who are already renting a car, JFK or La Guardia might be the cheapest option.

Not sure why this question is asked here... but a bourse is a sort of dip variant that includes economics... the value of each nation's currency is manipulated by players alongside the military actions.

I believe the top board of WDC will have an attached bourse. I might be getting my tournaments mixed up though...dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2019 11:56 amNot sure why this question is asked here... but a bourse is a sort of dip variant that includes economics... the value of each nation's currency is manipulated by players alongside the military actions.

Yes, the standalone top board on Sunday morning will be accompanied by a bourse for all of those who didn’t end up making said top board. There will be a prize for winning the bourse.
