A really controversial question
What is your favorite baked good? I’m partial to chocolate croissants and cinnamon rolls.

You wanna go even more controversial? Cheesecakes are a type of pie.
Re: A really controversial question
Cereal with milk, is it a soup, with the cereal soaking up the liquid, or is it a salad, where the milk is a salad dressing?

Lardy Cake is the king of baked goods. It's exquisite taste matched only by its honesty. It doesn't pretend to be healthy like carrot cake. It doesn't try to hide its ingredients like treacle tart. It's a cake, and it's made with lard. Sorted.

Re: A really controversial question
I’m gonna say it depends on the cheesecake. If it’s a baked cheesecake I’d argue it’s a cake only because it doesn’t get placed in a pie tin and relies on the setting of a batter due to thermal transfer. However if it’s a no bake then I’d almost certainly agree it’s a pie because the filling will set without heat.
I think that’s kinda the main differentiation: does it set cold or hot? Is the mix being referred to as a batter or filling?
My family has a recipe for cheesecake that relies on whipped egg whites as the leavening, once baked it has a moist but fluffy texture more similar to cake.
However most people are familiar with a more dense style of cheesecake either reliant on eggs I whipped (if baked) or gelatin (if cooled) to thicken the “cake” these end up with a more custard-like filling that is most similar to pie.

That's an interesting way of defining it. Would you call a pumpkin pie a cake then?
To me, a pie is a filling in or on a crust, whereas a cake is some sort of baked, bready better, often layered or garnished with some sort of sauce, glaze, or icing.

Yes I heard a lot of good stuff about your micro breweries and what they do. I will come there sometime later after you have ousted the clown in office...

Re: A really controversial question
If you pour the milk on after the cereal it is most definitely an extremely unhealthy salad
