Game Deadlines

Not sure where to post this question so putting here. I'm new to webdiplomacy, in my first full game. Got a question about move deadlines. If all the players mark their moves, builds, whatever as "Ready" before the deadline, does the game get adjusted right away or does it always wait until the deadline is reached?

Yes, if all players who have orders to give mark them as "Ready" the game gets adjusted right away. Have fun in your first full game!

Another question, what if you've entered your orders but haven't "Readied" them yet, are they counted as "Ready" when the deadline hits?

Yes, if you’ve saved your moves, they will adjudicate (assuming others have entered their’s) on the deadline given.

Thanks. I like the current time of day for the deadline. Fits great with my time for communicating with the other players so don't want to change it by making it "Ready" at an earlier time.

Note that if you are not involved in a set of orders (e.g., you do not have any retreats to order) but others are, then they all may "Ready" their orders ahead of the deadline, and if so the order deadline will have shifted earlier. To my chagrin, because of this I made a couple of Civil Disorders in some fast-paced (4 or 6 hour phases) games when I thought I would have plenty of time to sleep, but the others "Readied" ahead of time.

Fortunately my current game is 24 hour deadline and I'm old and retired so can frequently check.
