So realistically, Chernobyl was not expected to be a big hit. but it was. It was and still is by far the best series HBO has ever made. It is haunting, thrilling, terrifying and ominous while being unescapably bingeworthy. Its rewatchability sustains while their other series all fade away into duldrums.
What can I say? I'm survivin'

It was surprisingly well written and well acted. I don't know if I can say it was the best ever done, but it was great. I agree with your articulation.

Sopranos takes the award imho, but it is still a great show
