1x Unknown Mafia Alignment Cop - They do not know the identity of the other mafia members. Each night they can scan one person to determine their alignment
1x Killer - This person must carry out the kill while alive.

The Mafia team strikes me as slightly overpowered, mostly due to the Mafia team member who doesn't know their alignment, and that town only has 4 mislynches before hitting MyLo (down from 5 mislynches before hitting LyLo with 5 v. 16), and that there is potential for town to roleblock its own cop. Also, I'm not sure what the point of the Mafia Killer is if there's no tracker/watcher--unless it's the case that the town can roleblock the NK?

This seems pretty scumsided on first glance, might be worse dependent on the following:
Do the non-pr scum give the same role return as VT's?
Do the remaining scum know the identity of the traitor?
Main complaints:
Main town powers are too easy to abuse. VT clears are never real clears while GF/goons are alive. Scum can just no-kill to make the roleblocker out and believe they have a guilty resulting in a mislynch and a kill on the RB. The numbers are too in much favor for scum with this low level of town power.
Solutions: Cut a scum member, make the NK mandatory

Yea so my logic was to have town to be able to continuously roleblock the killer if found. 2. Yes.
I would be happy to remove either the GF and have them purely as absorbent (although that defeats the purpose of them having a scan) or else remove a mafia.

The cop being a full cop+ at least makes it a lot more even. No need to remove any of the scum "power" then.
Still, the outcome of this game is likely to rely very highly on the play of both the cop and the GF.

Perhaps. The way I wanted it like this so town can't rely on mechanics but do have some potential assistance. Can easily change if anyone has a way to handle it better :)
