Okay y’all what is this?? 24k Magic wins Album of the Year at the Grammy’s in a year with 4:44, Melodrama, and DAMN.????

This is worse than the Oscars. How are we supposed to believe Bruno Mars deserves these wins when it isn’t 2010?

Even Humanz was better than 24k Magic, and it wasn’t even that great.

-Humanz , Gorillaz
-Gemini, Macklemore

Don’t get me wrong I love 24k Magic, but it didn’t win because it was artisticly superior, it won because it was popular with the masses.

Also new artist going to a girl who’s been singing for several years now and not Khalid and his breakout year is trash. Not to mention alternative album going to an album that didn’t even chart or take risks over the return of Gorillaz with Humanz.

Because it’s fun to get mad. That’s also why I made the title vague enough to be about literally any awards show any given year. Gotta expect the bullshit ahead of time.

If you want to get mad just watch Maury pauvich or something. As to these awards shows, why would anyone care. There are so many and so expansive they just about give trophies for participation at neighborhood soccer games.

There's also no way the washed up Gorillaz deserved to beat the first actually good National album. The Mountain Goats deserve that one though.
