Tinder
Is this app supposed to suck?
Every girl has 2 of the following:
1. #Daddygang in bio (what does that even mean?)
2. Dog picture/ Dog momma, and claiming to only swipe right on dogs
3. Nose piercing (no hate but they all have the exact same thing.)
And they all claim to love hiking which I call bs.
I matched with one and we argued over the proper way to play super smash bros and she got offended and unmatched.
A few more matches just ask me to add them on insta or snapchat (ummm no)
A couple don't message.
What happened to my generation that this is a popular app?

Re: Tinder
Lmao
I think this says more about 1) what the algorithm thinks you like, and 2) what you've done to make the algorithm think so, rather than the quality of the people who use it.

Re: Tinder
That's cause you're doing it wrong.
Ask them for recipes.
I haven't had to think about what to cook in the last three months. I love it.

Re: Tinder
I don't see what's wrong with adding them on Snap or Insta that's way more likely to continue the conversation.

Are you a 6'3" doctor and/or lawyer with a six-digit salary, a full and well-maintained beard and generally masculine facial features, and the ability to take photos of yourself in your gym gear that make you appear to have the physique of a Greek god?Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 1:37 amIs this app supposed to suck?

If not, yes, it's supposed to suck.

Re: Tinder
Why would you unnecessarily jump through an extra hoop to talk to somebody who is supposedly already interested in you?

Re: Tinder
I don't think you guys understand how Tinder is. You want to move the talking off Tinder as soon as possible, as:Carl Tuckerson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 3:08 amWhy would you unnecessarily jump through an extra hoop to talk to somebody who is supposedly already interested in you?
1. It means they're interested (as opposed to just doing it for fun)
2. More likely to have responses, as a lot of people have Tinder notifications off, but not Instagram/Snapchat.

Atomization, probably. There are better dating sites though. What happened to my generation that this is a popular app?

Re: Tinder
The only place you should be moving the talking off Tinder to is a date, period. If you aren't closing you're wasting your time.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 3:26 amI don't think you guys understand how Tinder is. Re: Tinder
My typical is to chat on Tinder a bit, then try to get their Snap or number (some are more forthcoming with one or the other). Setting up a date or a hangout is usually done from there.Carl Tuckerson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 3:53 amThe only place you should be moving the talking off Tinder to is a date, period. 9/10 I won't meet a guy off tinder unless I have his insta or somethingCarl Tuckerson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 3:08 amWhy would you unnecessarily jump through an extra hoop to talk to somebody who is supposedly already interested in you?

Re: Tinder
Describe your ideal first date:
I pull up in my Camaro. Slick back my hair. We drive up to lovers point. And make out. She compliments my leather jacket and blue jeans

Re: Tinder
I assumed most girls who instantly want you to add them on insta or Snapchat just want a higher follower count.
I don’t even use those. Insta is basically Facebook but more pictures right?
