Damned useful info, that. I was toying with starting a business specialising in organic sloth manure for people who want slow growing plants (cuts down on the pruning, huge demand), but now I'm going to have to redo my production estimates.

Writing is my thing. I started as a teenager and never stopped since then. While fantasy and action are the most beloved genres I had tried my pen in almost everything save of comedy which I find very difficult to write and be funny and entertaining.

Sorry I haven’t responded. I half expected this thread wouldn’t be active, but to my excitement, it has been very active!
I started this thread as a way for people in the game to share a little bit of their life that they’re proud of, and I thought it’d be a good way to throw myself back into the forums. (It’s been a while, but I started a pretty big poetry thread a little more than a year ago)
I think it’s very important for people to have aspects of their life separate from work and the “daily grind” in order to stay human.

What bothers me about that popular mentality is that everybody has a talent somewhere. I knew a kid in highschool that barely passed, couldn’t hold a job at fast food or retail, was just all around bad with people. But right out of graduation he got a job as a voice actor and he’s doing very well with it, and doing something he loves.

It’s not so much talent that matters, but more so passion. Everyone should have something

As you said, to have something that excites you and you are willing to devote time and effort to it: is what makes us human. Many people have lost this aspect of life, they are great at their work but beyond that, there is nothing that interests them or that they want to do.
