One time I beat Jeff Kuta at 3 am in an Ancient Med Game Live

#1 Post by brainbomb » Thu Nov 14, 2024 5:08 am

One time at 3 in the morning while severely inebriated I defeated jeff kuta in an Ancient Med game where all other players forgot they had joined the game live because they were probably also inebriated. This has improved my win percentage unjustly and I would request a rematch against other drunk people.

I don't drink, but if you'll accept stoned, I'm in.

(This is basically the equivalent of my agreeing to play most any live game, granted.)

Well, that's the other problem. :-) I'd have been there if I saw it, but a bit of notice (here?) increases the chances that I'll make it.

If you want to play a strictly tactical game, I love playing the live Civil War version of the America map over on vdip. If anyone wants to plan one of those in advance, let me know. (Same user id here and there.)

It feels like everyone's scattered or too busy. Miss those spontaneous late-night gaming sessions.

There were 34 blitz-format live games this last weekend - that was a bit of an anomaly because we hosted an event, but even outside of that they're not rare, they're just arranged via discord these days to ensure no dropouts.
