You're far away in another country, I can't smell you from here, it's fine.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 3:51 pmI thought I was your only friend... :-/Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 3:36 pmMost of my friends are women. They're much more interesting and easier to get along with, and they smell nicer.

Maybe I just have a better sense of smell than you. I don't need to go around sniffing and snuffling to know what things smell of.Octavious wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 4:29 pmWe live in different worlds. I can't say I regularly take a sniff of any of my friends, be they women or otherwise.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 3:36 pmMost of my friends are women. Quite possibly true. For me, aside from those who are very close indeed, people generally fall into the categories of neutral, just done exercise, and weapons grade perfume

Re: International Women's Day
I just learned it's also international women's month.
Why would you double dip and have the day during this month.
Shouldn't a separate day be claimed since today was already covered.

Re: International Women's Day
Honestly I'm not worried of not being respectful to women myself, or to people that happens to be somehow discriminated for any reasons. And I can agree that discomfort is by design.
What I tried to say is, sadly a large part of the male population doesn't perceive that discomfort - some mimosas on Women's Day and you're okay; but those mimosas are felt to have the same value of a candy heart on Valentine's Day.
Talking about mimosas, a (female) friend sent me a not-so-silly meme comparing mimosas to polenta, and proving that polenta is a far superior gift
