In about 24 hours I guess that we have to beat Canada in the finals too! That will probably be a nice training session for the Swedish team. :-D

You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against Canadians when a hockey championship is on the line"!

Ouch! I didn't say anything, did I?

Really nice 2nd goal by Canada though in the 2nd last minute of the game. Better to have this decided with a playing goal instead of doing it in a penalty shootout...

My Gran was a big fan in her younger days, but it went out of fashion in the UK before the Beatles. Much like baseball. Besides which, hockey is more fun and less fussy than ice hockey.

If you want to play "hockey without ice" you should go for "floorball" that is a very popular sport on the rise. It is much easier to set up and much less expensive too.

Check this video and you understand what I mean: https://youtu.be/Q4uwIBZxnZA

Checked "field hockey" out: https://youtu.be/B-XM5zX-KFU

It looks very similar to "bandy" which is played on ice: https://youtu.be/lWLc546rvXM
