I have the Game Director role in a game. AFAIK there isn’t any documentation so I’m poking around. I assume the design is meant to be accessed via the legacy board; at least, that’s the only place where I found GD controls. Problem is, no command seems to be processing. Any command just takes me to the new board, without having executed the command I just gave.

Anybody recognise this?

No, but if you switch the "Default map UI" in your settings it may stop redirecting you to the new board:
