Switch to PP redirected private press to global

So, here's a tricky one for you guys. In this game I was writing press back to somebody. At the same time, a mod paused the game and switched it to PP. When I clicked send it was automatically redirected to the global chat.

Luckily, it was pretty innocuous but I could see this causing some real headaches for people.

Damian is running his tournament; he isn't a mod. You might ask him if he could change games to no press instead of public press in the event of a pause, or just leave them be if that is easier. There isn't much that can be done about that otherwise. Any press sent in a public press game obviously is global, so even if you try to send it to another player like you did here, the game reads it as global press since that is all that it is permitted to allow. The only way to avoid this possibility is to take away all press entirely.

Could be worse, though. Just ask France.

I'm not surprised that this is the first time this has happened. It's a weird edge case, and we're all lucky it wasn't more compromising.

As always, development time is limited, so we can't do much in the short term beyond hoping it doesn't happen again or turning the games to gunboat in these situations, which is a call for damian.

I can switch to gunboat if thats the best solution. The only reason I've been leaving it public press is so that players can communicate about the pause if need be, without all questions immediately being directed to me

Maybe switch it to gunboat immediately and then wait a couple minutes to switch to pp
