It's too bad they didn't describe the problem. Though "crashing" sounds like it could be the notorious "white screen of death" bug. I wonder if they were supporting a fleet to an invalid coast in Spain?

I get an error message if I make invalid commands in the new GUI.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:18 amIt's too bad they didn't describe the problem. Now I wonder why doing it in Spain would be so special?

The UI prevents invalid moves. However, in the case of countries that have two coasts, it is possible to support move a fleet into an invalid coast. Or at least it's possible for Spain, specifically. I haven't had an opportunity to test it on other two coast countries, but I suspect the bug exists there too.learnedSloth wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 10:09 amI get an error message if I make invalid commands in the new GUI.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:18 amIt's too bad they didn't describe the problem. After inputting the invalid move, the game will flash an error message and if you do not immediately rectify it then it will send you to an empty white map, or as I like to call it, the white screen of death.

I have managed to give invalid move to St.P but it didn't crash. I guess I just reacted fast enough. I suppose it happens with Spain more commonly because it's smaller.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, nor being forced to wear a capirote!

How to fix:
Go to Account, Settings, change default UI to drop down. Then enter in your orders. If you don't like the old UI, go back to your settings and change the UI back to point and click. The white screen of death will be resolved.
How to avoid the white screen of death:
There is currently a bug that allows players to select an invalid coast when supporting a fleet with an army. Pay careful attention to where you click when supporting fleets to: SPA, STP, and BUL. For example, make sure to click NC if you want to go to the North Coast of Spain, and make sure to click SC if you want to go to the South Coast of Spain.
