It's the second edition of hopefully many other editions. You can check the first "season"s results through the Discord channel as well.

So it started already and I can't join anymore?

You can't - fortunately the tournament filled up pretty quickly.

The first "season" happened in June/July. The second season will take place in September/October. Sign-ups for the third season should start around October/November.

As soon as the sign-ups start again I will post it here. Meanwhile, feel free to check on the tournament to grasp players' playstyles, chat and comment about the games, consider employed strategies, etc.

(Apologies, I posted some outdated information - a few rules changed overnight ).

The tournament is now accepting sign-ups again! It switched to a more dynamic system where players can hook up at any time, but the more games you play the better the chance to get a better score and win up.

SETTINGS:

• Classic Europe
• Game playable until 1910
• 24hr move, 24hr build/retreat
• Random country selection
• Private game

ADVANCEMENT:

• Players will be scored via the Sum-of-Squares system
• Games will end when one player has collected 18 SCs or winter (aka Fall Retreat) 1910 arrives, whichever comes first
• The top 7 players in the standings by the end will advance to the final game
• The winner from the final game will receive the grand prize of $50
