#1 Post by TheFlyingBoat » Mon Oct 25, 2021 3:02 am

Nexus is excited to announce the 7th season of its premiere event - The Full Press Tourney. Its slated to start November 4 2021.

Full Press challenges both your diplomatic and tactical abilities. Turns adjudicate every 24 hours. Its fast, fun and sometimes furious.

The event will be hosted by the Nexus server and can potentially be played on multiple platforms.

There are three rounds - the preliminary round, where you play 2 games. Should you advance the semis and finals are both 1 game each.

Registrations end on October 31st 2021. Sign up at the Discord Server.

Highly endorse this tournament.

I've participated in three of the seasons, it attracts a lot of good talent from all the different online platforms as well as a lot of great players from the FTF and vFTF world which is really interesting for anybody looking to play in high profile games with new faces. It's fairly fast at 24 hour rounds so not ideal if you can't keep that pace, but what I like about it is that games all end at 1910 so you're looking at about 1-1.5 month commitment for each round of the tournament (preliminaries, semi-finals, finals) which is good for people like me who like a little more instant gratification in their tournaments. Rules this season have been tweaked to encourage very aggressive play, so if that's appealing to you then go check it out. It's also very spectator friendly as the Discord engagement helps in keeping connected with everything going on and the finals match gets YouTube commentary on a round-to-round basis.

Even if you're not ready to jump in, it's still great entertainment to watch and worth joining the Discord channel
