Hey gold, we did tell everyone they didn't have to worry about games for 2 full days, as of 10:30am Eastern time, so if you notice anyone miss their orders please don't penalize them unless it's after that time frame. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone!

Are you giving out awards for dumbest end to a game? I'm gutted by how dumb I am.
https://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=284658

Especially because I was so ready to write out a scathing rebuke of Russia's play. I don't think I can show my face on this site for a while after this one. My god.

Words cannot express just how terrible an experience that game was. Scathing rebuke doesn't come close Yonni.

Seriously, playing that game with you was like slamming my nuts in a draw.

(My apologies to the late Sean Smith for borrowing your words to me in a diplomatic exchange in the game EVE Online, but nothing else was appropriate.)

Wusti, considering your record at press games, I think it might make sense to take a look at your messages' tone and content and consider how they might contribute to your poor results.

It is a game that inspires mixed emotions. On the one hand, it was one of those painful mistakes that sticks in the mind for some time. On the other, you did get to slam Wusti's nuts in a draw...

...on balance, it may well have been worth it ;)

After subbing in for Italy and playing alongside everything that was happening, I'm not sure exactly what happened there. On the one hand, it was no secret that Austria and Russia did not get along, and I would not be surprised if Austrias mistake was not a mistake at all. On the other hand, Austria did have several lapses in tactical skill throughout the game, so a mistake like this is also well within the scope of being an honest mistake.

Either way, it sucked for me to lose that game when it clearly should have been a draw.

It really was just a mistake. I was hoping that France would stop playing a gunboat once he got to the line so we could eliminate wusti but I really fucked up before that could happen.

Thanks for taking over and sorry for ruining a well earned draw. Was a pleasure playing with you.

Thanks the score list Gold!
I hope Yigg at least worried a little bit that I'm Turkey in the R7G1 game. :))

Calculating the tiebreak is not very difficult, it is clear that Yigg is in better position. But if I see it right, still two other players can win, it is still exciting.
