We are likely to have a decent number of first world (national teams) and second world (geographical fudge teams). Is there any appetite for opening up the tournament to the third world (foreign site teams from places like PlayDip)?

I'm a dual citizen (Filipino and Canadian), but ethnically Chinese. So I could play for Team Canada (West Coast, if that makes a difference), or Team East Asia?

I think any players from other sites, such as PlayDip, should have to fit into one of our national or geo-fudge teams. Otherwise it's just a PlayDip allstar team.

True, Cascadia, California, and Balkans were basically all-star teams, but at least they're webDip allstars, and at least the players are spread among a few teams.

Cascadia was kind of a Playdip all-star team as well as a webDip all-star team, if you think about it.

The format here does lend itself pretty well to FtF players that might be willing to dabble, between the geographic nature of it and the relatively low individual commitment for a tournament.
