The Time period to join the finals is nearly finished. Anyone who hasn’t joined their final or contacted me to let me know that they will need extra time within the next 48 hours will forfeit their spot to the next highest ranked person.

Apologies. But decisions need to be unanimous since you all signed up for a tournament with 25 hour phases, and I don’t currently see evidence of unanimous agreement.

I understand. We have everyone on board except france who has not messaged in globel.

I would like to be replaced in Tier 4. I have explained in greater detail in a pm.

I don't know how replacements work, but if you need one I would be willing to fill in!

Normally I just sub people in as I get volunteers. Since it’s the finals however the spot would need to be offered to the person who is next on the list of tier 4 players.

All that remains is tier 4 which is ticking along nicely at 36hours/phase
and Tier 1 which is paused.

A little AAR. I just won the tier 2 finals as 'the last guy' in the pool. I'm kinda proud of that, but I don't think it was my best play ever. What worked in my favor is that some players were afraid of certain names and their associated abilities. No reason not to profit from that.

As France I gunned for an early alliance with Germany, who was happy to oblige. England and I had a weird relationship. Though most of my moves were against him he treated me like a friend or even an ally. I played along a bit but my mind was set. Eventually Germany and I took over. Italy was a loose cannon, often changing course. My idea is you got to stick to your choices, unless things get really detrimental. My biggest mistake is I think I should have stabbed Germany in 1905 to have a shot at the win. Instead we lived in peace while I focused on the Turkish threat. Luckily Austria decided to pre-stab him. Turkey would never have made it. I was the chip leader but in the later stages of the game that was threatened by Germany. People did throw things my way. England, Austria. Perhaps this should have been a win. It's a bit embarrassing but I knew only later on the game would stop at 1910 instead of when a conclusion was reached. Anyhow it was a fun tournament. I think most of my pool was on my level though I respected most people for their skill and diplomacy. Thanks for organizing this Damian!

Afraid not. A solo simply results in a loss for everyone else.

I'm already looking forward to the next round of the leagues, and playing the early rounds VERY differently haha. It might be best to not piss off a wide array of people before the final, I've found. Thanks again for all your hard work with this damian.
