I strongly concur. I've considered dropping this league after this cycle because 25 is a bit too quick for me.

Regarding changing the time. Organizing in the thread is great. If you want to have the phase lengthened and you are able to figure out before the game starts.
In case you can't get a hold of people and figure it out before hand, you can talk about it in game. If everyone agrees during the first phase we can change it.

I've had a couple people message me questions about the rules so I figured I should answer them here so everyone gets to the see the answers.
"Are the final games drawn on Autumn 1910 as well?"

"Also, is the scoring the same?"

"Lastly, are points gained in the final added to what we already have, in order to determine the final standings, or from now on only the final counts?"
I swear I've answered this question, but I'm noticing an official answer is absent from the tournament site and I can't find my original answer. It might be lost on the old forum.

I believe what I said was: Only the final counts in so far as determining who gets the prize at the end of the league. Its kind of like playoffs, regular season standings don't matter.

"Do the points from the final count toward promotion?"
As with the above question I can't find an official answer from myself.
For consistency I'm going to say much like the previous question points earned in the final won't affect promotion.
