I'm not one to believe in curses, but I guess the Jeff Daniels/Peyton Manning bathtub full of booze thing worked?

Re: What is Morality?
I want to make clear that I'm not claiming that any other approach to morality is perfect. I don't hold the Bible up to this impossible standard myself and find it lacking. I personally think the Bible is maybe the most useful piece of literature written on the subject of morality, even though I do...

Re: What is Morality?
Anyways, what I'm saying is that we must have a singular ultimate objective standard, and I believe that the best standard is the Bible. Which is an opinion based on your faith in the existence of the Christian God (and of that God's authority which makes the Bible an unassailable source of perfect...

Re: What is Morality?
This is a fair point, actually. We have no proof of God or science, but we can believe either way that the world we interact with actually exists. If there's a God, then presumably God wouldn't lie to us in such a way. If there's science, then it stands up. If there's neither, we might as well comm...

Re: Sending game links
More questions about the site rather than feedback but couldn't see a better place to ask, apologies if there is and I missed it. We'd like to play a game of diplomacy with friends over a few (or many) weeks - but rather than get the board out each week etc. and manually resolve orders I went looki...

Re: Game 161 of 20 questions
There was a documentary listed on IMDB. She had so many awards and the birth/death dates fit, it was a long shot guess, the first thing that popped into my head. Congrats to Gooner for getting it right!

I tend towards Tyo for Tyrolia instead of Tyl. I've seen both EAS/WES and EMS/WMS for the Eastern and Western Med and tend towards the latter.

Forget that. ISS module. Michael Foale fits but can't think of another Foale. Unless.... OK Is it Michael Foale? I couldn't find a spaceman that fit all the criteria earlier today, but I think you have it. Endeavor and Challenger are references to Space Shuttles and he was on a few flights (looks l...
