If no to both Aristo's question and mine, free guess: Taylor Swift.
No.
How many times has Taylor Swift been incorrectly guessed in past rounds of 20Q?

Re: 20 Questions, Game 298

There were some very impressive solves yesterday. Well done to each of Hominidae, Aristocrat, and DreamTrawler. Since we're on the subject of rules: I've actually had a proposal for reforming the system of free and non-free guesses in the back of my mind for some time. Allowing non-free guesses some...

Thank you and sorry - I keep forgetting how the consecutive guess/answer works. Free guess: Freddie Mercury

Re: 20 Questions, Game 298

QM: I hope you will allow this, but I would like to use my free guess on Freddie Mercury, with the understanding that DreamTrawler should be considered the winner of this round if it is right. (If I am not right, then DreamTrawler still has a free guess and I don't; if this is not allowed, then plea...

Re: 20 Questions Game 297

Born in what is currently part of the United States? Yes. If yes, free guess: Sojourner Truth? Yes! That was fast. 33 minutes and 5 questions answered (I'm including the "passed" question, as that gave away information). I would be shocked if those weren't both records. Well done Aristocrat!

Re: Twenty questions, round 296

We need to drill down on the reason for the pass on place of birth. I assume the place is unknown, but Spartaculous could be playing tricks with the political definition of the birthplace. Do you know, or can one find out on the person's Wikipedia page (if they have one), where this person was born...

No. (For purposes of clarity, in this question and the related one from before, there are no linguistical tricks about the geopolitical status of Taiwan: I would have no problem saying that Ang Lee was born in what is now Taiwan.)

Re: Twenty questions, round 296

I see where you are going with this question, and I thought of Tibet and Hong Kong also, but the question QM passed on was "born in what is now China, Taiwan or Japan." These places you ask about are all now clearly in, or out, of one of these countries. The pass has to be because his birthplace is...
