It's a global conspiracy by the Illuminati (or the NADF) to stall the resurrection of the Diplomacy Tour of Britain.

Re: Tour of Britain 2020
Massive kudos to all involved.
I would dearly love to get to at least one of these.
Here's hoping.

Re: "Mistake" in the rules?
Thanks Alexander. The 'mistake', if that's the right word, is that you've misunderstood the principle of superior numbers. The support of Berlin gives it a defensive power of 2 and Berlin's support of Munich gives it an attack power of 2. If Munich is looking to get into Silesia against another unsu...

Re: Moderator Team Announcement
With great power comes great responsibility - apparently. I'm not in favour of lifetime bans, especially when they are impossible to enforce 100% reliably. However, the site mods do also have to punish infringements and, when the offence involves a breach of trust - as this one has - that punishment...

Re: Moderator Team Announcement
Both shocked and disappointed at this news. Having hung out with the mod team earlier in the year, I can vouch for their commitment both to the site, their responsibilities and their peculiar sense of humour. To have had a colleague go rogue is a tough thing for them to have to deal with; the tempta...

Re: Band/Musical Artist You Miss the Most
Harsh, Major Mitchell. You're forgetting their follow up hit - 'Fantasy Island' . Interestingly (?), the 'brains' behind the group - the chap who always stood on the far right - is now a local councillor in a town not far from me (standing for an only marginally less far right party). Back to the or...

I'm given to understand that 'girth' is preferential to 'length'.
Just thought I'd throw that in.

Re: User research
As well as Anon, all FTF Tournaments should be played 'in character', with full and authentic national costumes.
That way, if you happen to catch a glimpse fo a player, you'll only know which country the represent, not who they are!

Re: User Name Explanation
My own moniker is a tribute to a rather camp '80's pop band here in the UK, "Right Said Fred". They were very popular when I was young. If I remember rightly, it's the title of their second hit. I wanted a name that related to Diplomacy and it just popped back into my head. Perhaps I should have gon...
Re: Brexit
What would be sensible (i.e. in th national interest) would be to either delay Brexit until after the EU Elections or revoke Art 50. I'm not sayoing 'no' to Brexit, but either of these options would allow for a second referendum, which is the only way of sorting out the situation in a non-toxic way....
