Another 69er. First played in the early Seventies in engineering college South Wales U.K. Joined this site some years ago now, not having played for centuries due to lack of face to face opponents. The site is great, keep up the good work.

This has got a little out of hand. The 40/40/20 split is not a matter of negotiation but a statement of the position of each player at the end of the Autumn turn. The point is the other two players under sos rules are on 40 points each they are offering a three way draw because the third player has play well. He will under dos rules receive 20 points because he has las centres. I think he is thinking of the other draw rules.

As the initial loss of RR was due to underestimating the commitment required to play in multiple games as a new player, maybe there should be some restriction on the number of games a new player may join. This would reduce the number of spoilt games which in my experience are most frustrating.
