I don't know whether or not there are other such platforms, but I found there is quite a lot written about Diplomacy and AI - see, for example, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-34473-5 and its references.

Ah, I may have inadvertently misled you. Since I was reporting only the case of six players each with equal ghost ratings of G, and a seventh with a ghost rating twice as much, 2G, I instantiated the "$grSum" in the code with 8G (1*2G + 6*1G). Nice! A possible correction - I think there is an unnecessary factor of 8 in both your adjustment formulae.

I too commend BrianBaru, who I have seen enter near-hopeless positions. Note that because one's rating changes at the end of a game based on the outcome and the ratings of the other players, having a "ranking-hurt" player among one's opponents has a slightly distorting influence on how much your own...

I believe Power 2's order X-Z does NOT kill Power 3's Z's support for Y-X, because of the "except" part of the rule:
"Support is cut if the unit giving support is attacked from any province except the one where support is being given."
Hence it's a bounce between Powers 1 & 3, so X stays put.

All players must "Ready" their submitted moves for the game to move on immediately. If there are any submitted moves that are not readied, then the game only progresses when the deadline for moves is reached.

After a game has been paused, once people start unpausing the Legacy Board lists "Votes: Unpause" for them, however the Point and click UI's INFO pane lists "VOTED PAUSE" for them!

What's to stop AI bots learning to recognize and favorably help one another? For example, they might learn that a player who is available for communication 24/7 is likely to be a bot. FYI, my userID=143189, and I have a Reliability Rating of 89.9%, yet I see I am allowed to join games with Required Reliability 90% (I have not done so).
