The failure of Elephants to become the apex predator that homo sapiens is was a serious strategic mistake in my opinion. Regardless of the absence of thumbs or the presence of that long prehensile trunk, this stubbornness about remaining herbivores didn't help at all to turn into an apex predator ....

While it's confusing that alliances may seem powerful, remembering about results will form your strategy. units position can be improved by using the terrain well, and it's diplomatic to focus on the game, it is very important in true units.

I'd be interested in seeing your statistics. I had exactly the same impression about the Mos-StP opening, which seemed to amount up to 50% when I draw England (out of a very small sample of max 10 games as England, which I used to play on play.webdiplomacy.org, i.e. the games haven't been archived)....

I notice Ginge's reliability rating is only 76%, which is a relatively poor reliability rating. The truth is coming out, eh? Seems like the "GOAT" quits any game when he thinks he's going to be eliminated. Little stat-padder. Does that imply that quitting a game is not counted as a loss on webdip? ...
